8th Street Hostel

Booked an online appointment through Agoda. I wasn't aware of the setup. The place was dirty (the sheets had red markings) and unsafe. Sa mga mag-travel and plan to book here, please don't. Ang setup kay murag boarding house where naay random people sharing the same room with you. Nibalhin na lang ko'g hotel. There should be transparency sa room setup, so customers won't leave disappointed.

Didn’t feel comfortable at all. Rooms are exactly what they promised, can’t complain about them but I had a very uncomfortable experience with one of the workers that made me move to another hostel before I was supposed to check out. The area is a bit sketchy as well. Wouldn’t recommend for female solo travellers

Other than the positive of the location to the port this place was gross. There were toenail clippings at the end of my bed and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. There were flies everywhere and we didn’t want to touch anything. We ended up having to stay somewhere else. Sorry.

FILTHY. For 2 days killed 7 big fat cockroaches. Next to the bed too. Rats around the showers. Mosquitoes. No hot water. First floor sinks have no water. No toilet paper. No soap. No towels. No internet.

Provides exactly what it promises and that is exactly what I needed (a place to sleep and a shower mostly). Thank you! And then I discovered that they have WiFi available that is better than what I usually use. Cool Beans!!! This stay is much more pleasant when I can be connected. P.S. If you are looking for 'hotel' accommodations, a hostel is probably not what you need. P.P.S I'm here because of ferry cancellations…

Staffs are very accommodating, bed is comfortable, and is walking distance to church, convenience store, fast food and market.

I went here at night door closed the guy sleeping seems like a quiet place not a hostel vibe at all. I left!
