If you’re heading to Bantayan Island with family, Anika Island Resort is one of those places that makes you feel instantly at home. Our kids loved it, and honestly, so did we. The rooms are spacious and cozy, with all the basics covered — water heater, toiletries, and fresh towels every day. Housekeeping is available when you need it, and if you ask, they’ll even bring you an electric kettle. The only hiccup was the…
The beachfront is clean and well maintained even the garden inside. But the room (specifically #32) is abhorrent. It’s priced the same as the other 3pax room however no balcony, and the faucet has molds. I wish I took a picture. Also they asked for security deposit of 1k (that’s fine) however we’re 3 people and the card they gave us is used for activating aircon in the room, so if you need 1 more key, you deposit 50…
“Refreshing Delight 🫶🏻” This was a great fit for us 🇨🇦Travelling with 2 adults, 2 seniors and 2 kids 5 & 11. Best pool on Bantayan to beat the heat after a long day. I was worried it would be too deep but it goes from 2-5 feet so something for everyone 💦Restaurant food good and well priced, beautiful view from beach front rooms. We had scooters so went to town regularly for other eats but there is always tuk tuks ou…
I stayed here with my wife and our 11-month-old son, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing for a family trip. The Good: The beachfront is beautiful and very clean—perfect for a morning walk with the baby. The pool was a big highlight for us, and the port transfer was very convenient and professionally handled. The Reality for Families: Hygiene & Safety: We were shocked to find ants all over the r…
We had a wonderful, relaxing time — the property is beautiful and the staff are accommodating and friendly. One improvement I suggest: put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, especially to avoid cleaners knocking in the afternoon when guests are trying to sleep. A reminder for guests to be considerate with loud music would also help. Overall, I can highly recommend this resort.
The place was great and conveniently located very close to Santa Fe Port. They also offer a complimentary pick-up upon arrival at the port and will drive you back when you check out, which made everything very convenient. It’s just about a 5-minute trip to MJ Square, where you can grab food and check out the local scene with other tourists. The beachfront was especially relaxing, perfect for unwinding. I even had br…
Just OK. We stayed here for a few days, and honestly, it was just okay. The room was small and dark, and the mosquitos kept getting in somehow. You're not allowed any outside food or drink in the rooms other than chips and water, so you can't bring back some local fruit to have as a snack. It's also quite far from the main strip in Sante Fe and they charge extra for their scooter rentals. The positives: beautiful be…
