Well.. accommodation was nice, room was clean. They are also helpful with arranging the island hoppings, which was comfy. But jesus christ the shared bathroom.. theres no way you can shower, flush the toilet or clean your hands anytime from early morning to late afternoon. APO Pension house exceeded my expectations. The price was great for a large room for my friend and I, with WiFi, air conditioning and hot water. It was a little out of town but an easy walk or tuk tuk further in. We even extended our stay! Breakfast was available but we never tried it.

It's decent value. Our fan room was large enough and the bed comfy. Staff isn't so much looking to give you a good experience. They're not unfriendly though. Downside was that our room was very noisy. There was an open connection to the neighbouring room on one side and the bathroom on the other side, that was really annoying. Definately the best value for money. The staff are really nice and helpful. The rooms are clean, the shared bathroom is cleaned often. You can order a simple cheap breakfast in the morning. We had our laundry done there as well and it came back clean and smelling lovely. It’s a short walk into town or a 10p tricycle ride. Very quiet at night. Would highly recommend if you’re traveling on a budget.

We selected a room with private bathroom but there was no hot water for the shower. We had to use the shared bathroom, but the water pressure was weak. The room itself was small and had no windows, aircon was a bit noisy but useful for ventilation. Appreciate the help from the elderly guy who was part of the staff, but overall, I would not recommend staying here.
