If you are looking for a budget-friendly place to relax and unwind with family and friends, Magalawa Island is highly recommended. The travel time took us about 6 hours from Pasay, but the island itself is absolutely worth the long drive. The Island & The Beach The Water & Sand: The island boasts beautiful white sand and incredibly calm sea waters. Best Time to Swim: I highly recommend waking up early to swim an…

Nice beach and sandbar when we visited. We came here as a group of 15 and came back also with my family. We enjoyed the place. You may choose a shallow calm water or for adventurous people, raging water at the tip of the sandbar.

Visited mid-July and we were the only guests on the island. Would recommend visiting during summer/after summer/dry season though so the waves wouldn't be too wild to get here. We didn't stay here, just visited through island hopping. A very pretty white sand beach featured on Biyahe ni Drew. Nature is very maintained. Very island life feels lalo na sa tindahan but Globe cellular data is still strong here. Merong st…

Room: we availed the family aircon room medium size - 9 pax. Located at the 2nd floor of the reception area. Door lock is not working! BEWARE. kahit ilock, mabubuksan pa rin kasi lose na yung lock. The room is good for 9pax but there is only 2 outlets available. Dun din saksakan ng fan. Room view/location: beach front but not advisable to swim in front of the room kasi puro seaweeds. Good beach area is located in fr…

Almost 6 hours drive from Manila and a 20 minute boat ride is all worth it from my motion sickness. Clear sea water and a paradise will welcome you once you reach the island. Only the tip of the island is where you can roam but it's one of the best spots across. The waves are calming and the sunrise is spectacular from the horizon of Zambales mainland.

We stayed there last May 2024 for 3 days and 2 nights and here are my thoughts of the place Pros: - good location if you just want an island experience - the Crew of the resort owner are respectful and nice - sandbar is a cool place to stay and chill if you'll stay there during low season - good place to go if you're on a tight budget - you can cook food since they provide a stove and there's a grill area Cons: Btw,…

We stayed here back in March 2023. We did the 3 days 2 nights promotion that comes with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The last 20 minute drive to the resort is on gravel and can be tough if you vehicle is lowered The food prepared here was delicious and everyday they had something freshly cooked if you want to purchase that’s not part of the paid meal. The staff is friendly, even friendly that they let our driver st…
