I'm really upset I only stayed here two nights. Easily the best place in the area of Dumaguete and Valencia. The house is so beautiful! The wooden framed mirrors are spectacles! The bed comfyyy, the shampoo and conditioner smell super good. Everything is of great quality! It's in a green garden, I had a good feeling and felt welcomed the moment I saw the gate, and even more when I met hosts: the human and dog ones!!…
I cannot recommend this place enough. The owner/caretaker was very warm, friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, spacious and even the CR smelled really good. Welcoming you are 2 big dogs who are sweet gentle giants. Its located along the highway but there is difficulty with getting public transpo (tricycle, motor) since only a few will pass by.
We had the most lovely and homely getaway at Belfort House. We instantly felt welcomed with the rush of furry friends to meet us (Achilles, Paris and Athena 🤍). The hosts are amazing and recommend some great spots and cooked us delicious breakfasts. We hope to come back in the future.
A very nice place to stay, with excellent value for money! A lovely host family with wonderful, affectionate dogs (greetings to Achilles, Athene, and Paris!). The location is ideal, right on one of Valencia's main streets. Very well-maintained!
The place is great. Very clean, and the host is very accommodating. Nice high walled in compound around the house with secured gates. They do have dogs they were very friendly and not prone to do a lot of barking. Very safe place to stay.
Every little detail is there to make your stay enjoyable at Belfort House. From warm welcome to little attentions like in bedroom butter cookies that makes you feel welcomed and important to the eyes of the people running this place. They really do care about your comfort. Breakfast will double-fuel your day. Highly recommended if you end up in Valencia..
We enjoyed our 3 nights stay in this accomodation. The host is very approachable, friendly, accomodating and makes sure the customer is at peace while in the house.
