Celtis Resort

We had a lovely experience at Celtis. The room is exactly what you need- small, simple, clean. Good shower with hot water and AC. There are many mosquitoes, but they’re all over the island… It’s located 2 minutes from the night market which was perfect for us. The owners are welcoming and very nice. I think that for what you pay for, it’s very worth it.

Very nice property. Defintely worth the value. Nice kept garden. The caretakers are very kind and helpful. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is that the room can get hot and stuffy if there is no AC. There was no cross wind within the room. It did have a fan which helped. Get the room with the AC as they have plenty. Nice location close to the main food market. 5 minute walk to Evolution Dive Shop.

Great stay and hosts. Hosts were super friendly and chatty too :) room was clean and aircon was great. Wifi was also superior compared to all the other places (food places) we went in malapascua. Managed to play mobile legends and also video call required to bring own toiletries (hand soap, toilet roll and towels provided) Chickens, dogs and Gec-ko could be heard thoroughout the night (for the light sleepers)

Celtis Resort is very well located, close to the market and other amenities, yet still quiet and peaceful. The garden is lovely and relaxing. I’m posting this review as a warning. My stay as a walk-in guest was handled very unprofessionally. I stayed one night, then the next morning asked to extend for two more nights. The owner agreed and accepted payment. Later that same evening, I received a WhatsApp message telling me I had to check out the next day due to overbooking. This is not acceptable. Once payment is taken and a stay is confirmed, overbooking…
