As a first timer in Dumaguete, my stay at Coastwise Hotel was enjoyable. The room was tidy and comfy, and the check-in process was smooth. The staff were accommodating and responsive our needs. Nice almost new hotel, walking distance from the port and into the busy area. The sea front area really comes to life at night and is worth a visit. The room was typical hotel, clean and comfortable but we could not get hot water in the shower. Basic breakfast buffet with eggs cooked to order. Very polite and helpful staff. Was a great overnight stay.
Hotel is quite new, so services and facilities are quite good. Location pretty good, in front of port if you're going to Siquijor, and about a 7 minute walk to Rizal Boulevard. Everywhere else is about a 10 minute trike ride. Breakfast is pretty basic, but serviceable. Would stay again here if I find myself again in Dumaguete.
Great value for money. The rooms are the comfiest in Dumaguete. Best shower area and best beddings. Softest pillows and comforters. The staff are also very nice and friendly. They do the Mabuhay gesture here. We always have a relaxing stay at Coastwise!
