★☆☆☆☆ Dakak is one of those places that seems to be living off its reputation from decades ago. It may have been a top destination in the past, but visiting it now was disappointing. The reception experience was particularly frustrating. The receptionist spent most of the time talking over the radio about another guest's accommodation concern instead of attending to the people waiting in front of her. I ended up wai…

Our experience with Dakdak Resort did not even reach the point of an actual stay, which already says a lot about how the business operates. We attempted to book in good faith, following the resort’s stated process and operating hours. Despite reaching out early and remaining patient throughout the day, we were not properly accommodated. Responses were delayed, unclear, and at times dismissive. What made the situatio…

This stay was not quite what I expected. To start with, the air conditioning in the Pavillon area had only one functional unit, which made the space less comfortable than it should have been. Breakfast was another point of disappointment, as it required a coupon just to receive a very simple dish. While the golf tour was acceptable overall, I have serious concerns about the Pavillon Room. Overall, we had a good experience. However, there are a few concerns: the bath products felt very basic and not personalized; staff were seen using pellet guns on stray dogs near guests, which was alarming; one room’s socket for hot water was not working; there were large rats in the ceiling; and the resort still uses keys instead of key cards, which feels outdated for a luxury property. Additionally, many advertise…

Stayed at Dakak Beach Resort recently and honestly, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. We were in a Deluxe Room, which was fine — nothing flash, but comfortable enough. However, the Pavilion Room was pretty rough. The toilet and shower were really old and not clean, and there was no Wi-Fi, which is pretty disappointing these days. The restaurant was another let-down. The food was well below average, especially for the price…

there is a change in management during my stay and the facilities are in bad shape, shower area are infested in bees. Still, the charge is in full price despite its current state. The pools are a bit blurry. The only good thing there, are the resto's and the beach. The rooms have attics infested somehow, like some rodent running around it since we hear it at night.
