Absolutely LOVED our stay at Donatela. From the moment the staff picked us up and greeted us upon arrival, to the time they all said goodbye.. We were very well taken care of. Rooms were beautiful. Surrounded by jungle. This is a peaceful and serene place to stay, while being only a short tuktuk into town or the beach. Our kids loved the horses and pool.

Our stay at Donetela was incredibly disappointing. The website is very misleading. This is not a 5 star resort, it's 3 stars at most. For the price we paid, we feel so ripped off. The grounds contain several derelict buildings that are falling apart. Nothing has been maintained and everything is falling apart. It looks like a tropicall fallout.
