Property had undergone significant damage from a typhoon last year and there was significant work that needed to be done. The restaurant is no longer open. The room I was given fronted next to highway and was noisy. The toilet seat had been broken and was repaired at my request. The pool needed tile work and refinishing as well cleaning. The best i can is the bed was OK and the ac worked. Over priced!!

I did not see a room there we only stop there for lunch today. The food was good and well presented. There is no inside dining room. The dining tables are outside under a roof by the pool and the ocean.

It is still a very hospitable place to stay at when at the Southwest part of Cebu. That was my second time staying there. It is inexpensive with above average rooms and really courteous and attentive staff. Considering the pandemic, they do have very good protocols being followed for safety including limiting the number of guests allowed.

This resort is probably the most well-maintained, developed resort in the city. And it is. Chose this place based from my friend’s suggestion. The first beach I went before coming here was rancid, underdeveloped, and left forgotten. It looked haunted. But Estrella del Mar does its job as a resort. I was in Room 4. Worth 1,700 pesos. While waiting for the Ferry service from Toledo City Cebu to San Carlos Negros Occidental, we had time for lunch and visited EDMR&R. Only a few minutes drove from the port, we were given such a warm and courteous welcome by Lynn. Kudos to the Chef for a great tasting, flavourful lunch. Hope to spend a night or 2 here next time.

Call me pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We stopped for one night during our drive from Oslob to Hagnaya Pier. The bed was really comfy and showers were great. For breakfast we had pancakes that were super filling, we could have shared one plate 😂. They offer brewed coffee as well which was really nice!

Mid-Range Hotel but exceptional ambiance, they meet my expectations, i will recommend this place
