Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan

We booked the hotel for one night as we had to depart the next day. The hotel is conveniently located 5-10 min from the airport. The rooms and clean and spacious. The breakfast is buffet style (tho past reviews mentioned it’s a la carte) and it’s decent but don’t expect too much: eggs, some cooked dishes, some local pastries, fruit… The gym is clean and has good equipment. Overall a good stay.

This is a very New Hotel so everything is New and smelt new. Staff are lovely and accommodating. The room is beautiful good size and clean, bathroom is beautiful lots of towels and amenities the gym is clean and new, towel and water are provided( everyone is saying the room is small, but I believe it’s enough room for two people compare to other hotels I’ve stayed at) love the atmosphere big window yet the hallways…

The hotel is very near to the airport, it is just a 5 mins walk. As we arrived late we decide to stay here for the night before move to the beach hotel. Wonderful stay with very helpful staff. We were only there for a short time, but the location is perfect if you want to be closer to the Matcan airport, as there is a lot of traffic in the city, and this hotel is less than 15 minutes from the airport. Excellent hotel for transit. It was around 5-10 minutes car ride from the airport. Lots of eatery nearby. Perfect location with lots of eatery and a grocery shop nearby for last minute eats and buys. Friendly and energetic staff. Rooms are quite new but we did find some dirty spots in the room, wasnt too bothered since we only staying for 1 night.

We stayed 3 nights and had an amazing stay. The room and the hotel itself is nice, clean, and bright (given they just opened in Dec 2025). We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, they had amazing food selections and it was all yummy. Amazing chefs.
