Unpretentious rooms with TVs & private bathrooms in a humble hotel offering parking.
I’ve stayed at several GV Hotels before, but this was by far the worst experience. The room felt more like a neglected boarding house than a hotel. The bedding was extremely thin, looked worn out, and did not appear properly cleaned. Cleanliness was a major concern throughout the stay, as the room and surrounding areas felt poorly maintained. There was no hot water in the shower room.
The rooms are quite reasonable for their price, but don't expect too much from this hotel. There is no elevator, only stairs. The hotel is clean, and they provide a water supply. However, we did experience some power shortages; we're not sure if it was just a maintenance day or a power interruption in the city, but it happened twice during our stay.
I was supposed to stay here for 9 days but ended up only 1 night stay, a clogged toilet, and no shower. Even though my room is on the 4th floor, still the noises from the vehicles outside are too loud for me to do some work. They don't have an elevator so it's a struggle to carry your luggage on their narrow staircase.
Went there yesterday. Woman came out yelling I needed to move my motorbike. My motorbike was not blocking anything. I said it would be quick- just needed to know if room was available. Woman disappeared into hotel and never came back. Crazy customer service. I got a hotel down the street with great customer service. Management needs to train that woman at reception
