Great resort for divers or a quiet place to just rest. The diving was excellent. Sites were close and had animals and good coral. Saw a lot of turtles, seahorses and octopus, along with bottom dwellers and frogfish. Small reef fish in the coral and a few Moray Eels. Few large fish. Rooms are very comfortable, nice pool, staff are excellent- really helpful and friendly. The diving is a good mix of muck diving and very pretty walls, and the dive guides brilliant at finding the interesting inhabitants. Also transfers to and from the resort are easy to ask for , taking any stress out of travel.
This was my first time ever in the Philippines and I love it! Magic Oceans Dive Resort was great! All the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Fantastic dive resort with great service from all corners. It may be a bit of a drive from Tagbilaran, but you get your value out of that with the location. The diving around the resort is high quality and consists of muck as well as wall dives, with helpful and knowledgeable dive guides. Such a beautiful quiet spot for divers. Staff are friendly and efficient. Diving is great. Something for everyone. The manager does a great job and is social with all guests. Just spent seven wonderful days at Magic Oceans Dive Resort, and I got in 17 Nitrox incredible dives. The dive operation and guides really hustled, and I photographed some amazing critters like Mimic Octopus, Pygmy Seahorse, Ghost Pipefish. Great diving. The resort is in great shape with a wonderful, clean pool and the staff are well trained, extremely courteous and conscientious. The food and drinks are really well done. If you want to go to the beach there is one about 20 minutes away.
