It’s really surprising how many good reviews there are. The light is dark. The bed isn’t clean. The towels were wet and had ants on them. There’s no control for the AC. They even tried to charge me for borrowing a hair dryer. The water pressure in the shower was non existent. There was no soap and shampoo… The staff and owner are nice. We missed the boat to the island and they offered us an extra free night. The dog…

As someone who has stayed at the hostel before and knows the owner, I just want to mention that it’s currently under a temporary manager. The hostel had many 5-star reviews before, and the recent negative reviews seem to have started during this management change.

The establishment is good if you booked a short stay but if you do a monthly rent I don't recommend due to its high consumption of electricity I paid d 7,000 pesos for 21 days as I went home 3 days my load was rice cooker that I only used for probably 9 times heater 2 minutes daily. A cozy and homey stay on the island with 2 adorable dogs and the most caring host, Connie. She made sure I had everything I needed and even brought me to a good seafood restaurant with a nice deal. We stopped by a karaoke bar and her beautiful voice was absolutely stunning! My solo trip on the island was so much fun with my new friend Connie!

Great place to stay on Malapascua Island, friendly family owned place. The room was clean with a good a/c and ceiling fan. The owner Connie was a great host. Really close to the islands market for a great dinner and only a couple minutes walk to the beach or port. Will come back here for sure. Thankyou

What a beautiful place, an oasis near the market. Spacious, clean AC rooms, the most wonderful kind host - Conny! - and some cute puppies. 5min to the beach and dive centers, would totally stay here again!

This is probably the best place to stay in Malapascua for the price. The owner is amazing. Welcoming and helpful staff, super clean and new bedroom and bathroom. Close to the market and beach. Would stay here again! I give 5 stars!
