My fam and I stayed for 3 nights. Staff are friendly and accomodating. The room we stayed at is clean. No hot water in the shower and the water taste salty. The interior needs renovation as the ceiling looks old and some fixtures are rusty. They have a wide variety of breakfast buffet. Dumaluan beach I'd say is one of the best beach here in Bohol. The premises is right by the shore. Is quite lively yet not crowded and has a live band every night during our stay. The food at their restaurant has been satisfying.
Every time we return here, the service keeps disapointing. The shower is salty, booking appointment is not updated when you have to add plus one. Breakfast is bland. No WiFi in the rooms, only in the restaurant. It's kind of disappointing. The beach is best, the sand is so white and powdery. Great view but not the service.

Very disappointed with Dumaluan Beach and Marilou Resort. I understand paying 50 PHP for full-day beach access — that’s not the issue. What’s really disappointing is that it used to be free to come just for the sunset, and now even that requires payment. It feels like everything has become about making money. Day visit. The fruit shake is terrible, it has a color of the fruit that you ordered but taste nothing but ice. 😂 Although it's a nice place to stay a couple of hours and rent a beach bed. That's it.
