Lovely short break at Montys, a couple of miles from Town by the river. Quite scenic, quiet and very relaxing.

Great food and place to hang out, swim, stay. Property overlooks a river and if one dines, you can use the pool with no resort fees.

I stayed a few days on my own and enjoyed it very much. Room was really nice and Monty and his wife are wonderful hosts. Close by is a beach where also the boats leave for island trips. It's a little touristic, but nice. A few km away I found a beautiful beach with no tourists and no beach restaurants, but a cafe close by, great for a swim. I would recommend a car, otherwise it's a little tricky to get around.

Monty and Jenny are two wonderful people. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, peaceful and serene then this is the place for you. Our room was fairly clean, but the smell of the cleaning agents were a bit strong for me. Also, we charged an extra 200PHP for one hour early check-in. Service at the restaurant was great and friendly. The location and the resort itself is superb for people looking rest and recuperation.
