Celebrated my birthday here. We only went for dine in at the restaurant and not staying at the hotel. The foods were really good, with crispy tawilis and gabi chips being my favorites. The view was really nice too. Would recommend this place 👍🏼

The food is okay, it tastes good, just a bit pricey. However, the 10% service charge can be surprising when you pay the bill because you weren’t informed about it. Also, the waiting time for the order is quite long. That’s all—customers should be informed about the service charge before ordering. What if your order is worth 5,000 to 10,000? The service charge would be quite high as well.
I hope their restrooms are now well maintained and clean. I smelled like rotten mix of cleaning chemical and dirt. Restrooms should be well ventilated (at least an exhaust fan if no window) and washed at least regularly and somebody responsibly inspect or make sure healthy and hygenic. So therefore, if the restrooms are BAD, so the kitchen may also be dirty. For the good of the business, please learn and be concerne…
Views of Taal volcano from your room Balcony and Restaurant is superb. Food is very delicious 😋 Bathroom needs to be updated.
This place was worth every second I spent here. It’s truly amazing, the staff and the owners are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I’m so grateful for every moment I shared in this beautiful place and with such wonderful people. The nature, the Taal balcony view, and the food were absolutely incredible. I’m really going to miss this place so much. The people here made my time in Mataas na Kahoy City truly sp…
Great place for a view of the Taal Lake and Volcano. Not much crowd like on the other side. They also have the best Lomi that is full of toppings. Superb for the Lomi and the view.
Place is good. Location is better. Good food. Very quiet and nice place to have a good conversation with your family and friends.
As an American beekeeper we stayed here mainly for my interest in trying their honey, seeing their bees and sharing some of my own honey with them. Absolutely beautiful views and over all a good visit. There's a few things to be aware of. At 4k a night its over priced. No hot water, very small rooms and our room had a serious ant infestation. Also, if your on the lower floor it's extremely loud if you have anyone ab…
