Ocean 101 is one of the first resorts in Siargao, and the location is honestly hard to beat. It’s only about a 2–3 minute walk to Cloud 9, so you’re very close to the famous surf spot. First time here in Siargao. The hotel looks okay but a closer look reveals a number of not so good points. The power situation in the island makes the air conditioning not optimal. Friendly responsive staff at the dining room. House keeping or front desk, had senior moments to our requests. Decent, complimentary breakfast. Very relaxed, with infinity pool and various hammocks and al fresco tables.
