Oceanview Homestay

Thank you to Oceanview for letting me and my friends stay for 3 days. We enjoyed their accommodation and the staff were really nice and even helped us book our 100 island tour. The rooms were clean when we checked in, although the sink on one of the rooms were not working and the heater in the other room was difficult to use.

Great staff, very helpful and accommodating and very friendly. Rooms are small upstairs, but it has a lot of beds to share with. Minor bathroom issues. Great view of the ocean from the balcony and an accessible road to the baywalk where you can take great pictures.

Location is very close to the hundred islands dock area. The staff were quite friendly but had to wait a while to be checked in, the rooms WiFi wasn’t working due to an outage or something. The shower was scorching hot with no easy way to change the temperature but the room was ac cooled and there is a lit up pool to use which was a bonus. Not too bad for the price.

It all started when we walked in and they couldn't find our reservation. It was so complicated for them because of their irresponsibility and stressing for us. They finally found the reservation after bringing in more personnel. They gave us our rooms and when we walked in they stank and the beds had dirt on them. Sheets and pillowcases were not washed. The restrooms stank badly and had spiders and other insects. Wh…

Rooms are clean. The only issue is that there is a funky smell from the sewage/comfort room. The water is not that strong and there was a problem with the heater when we went. The service and the location make up for it. People are great. You can also just walk to the port for around 5 mins and you’re good to go around the islands.

DO NO GO THERE !!! Rooms are subpar at best but the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Had a very relaxing time and weekend here. Chose this because it's short walk away to Lucap boat port/tourist center and is PET FRIENDLY (P500 charge). Kudos to the attendant Gerald for making our experience with great cuatomer service and care. He is very attentive and professional. I like the seaside view even if it's approx 50-m afar.
