We spent an afternoon at the restaurant/bar and enjoyed the food and the drinks. The staff were very friendly and fun to talk with. I would recommend the restaurant. We didn’t stay at the resort nor did we do any diving so I can’t speak on those.
(This is for the restaurant, not the hotel) Gave it 3 stars but honestly was a big disappointment. When we first arrived to the beach bar the staff seemed disinterested and we didn’t feel that welcome. We actually moved on but because of lack of restaurants in the close area chose to eat here. I feel that majority of the reviews are for the bar/restaurant or dive facilities. Which to be fair are good (don’t know about the diving). But as for the hotel, that’s not great. The bed was uncomfortable (and very basic) but the biggest issue was the noise from next door which went on until early hours of the morning. Originally booked for 2 nights but left after the 1st night.
Old Castle Resort is a standout place in Anda. Michael, the owner, goes above and beyond—always ready with great recommendations on places to go and things to do. The dive operation is excellent, with the best instructor on this side of the island and well-maintained equipment. The restaurant serves great food, the service is consistently spot on, and they even pour the best draft beer in Anda. 🍺

Perfect stay for Diving and some good food. We had an awesome week with Michael and his Crew. Very recommended.
