Overall, a good stay. All staff, at all times, were consistently warm and accommodating. We were even allowed to check in an hour early, with a call ahead confirming our room was ready, which we appreciated. The room was very clean, and the AC worked well and quietly. The property is huge, and the beach and lagoon area are super pretty and relaxing to just walk around. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the beds were really comfy. Just a heads up that it can get pretty crowded on weekends, and the food is definitely on the pricey side since you're kind of locked into the resort, but there's a ton of stuff to do on site so you never really get bored. We love Pico Sands and the rooms. We are not members of the resort, but the fees we paid for our 4 day stay was worth it. The food was good and reasonable. The shuttle that took us to the beach, we walked it a few times (good exercise). The water was super clean, beautiful and different fun things you could do by renting the jet-skies or boats. A couple of restaurants there to take care of your needs. We'll be back.

Overall, our experience was disappointing. The beach was not very clean, with a lot of plastic in the water. While the management is strict about not allowing dogs on the beach, they seem less strict when it comes to enforcing cleanliness.
