Pico Sands or how to feel a second class customer… Let’s begin with the human factor: staff is very nice and much often well trained (which is not to be given for granted). The place is beautiful, with a sandy beach and a warm sea where you can bath and from where you can admire a wooded hill; toilets in the beach are clean. The rooms are spacious, and there are three restaurants (one on the beach) to meet different…

Overall, a good stay. All staff, at all times, were consistently warm and accommodating. We were even allowed to check in an hour early, with a call ahead confirming our room was ready, which we appreciated. The room was very clean, and the AC worked well and quietly. Some minor issues though, a few leaking faucets, a dated refrigerator, and limited TV entertainment options. For dining, Lagoa is a solid choice for b…

Our stay at Pico Sands Hotel was truly delightful. The shuttle service made getting around effortless—always on time, comfortable, and handled with care, which gave us peace of mind throughout our visit. The meeting room was the perfect setting for our managers’ meeting: spacious, well-equipped, and supported by attentive staff who ensured everything ran smoothly. It created just the right atmosphere for productive…

The property is huge, and the beach and lagoon area are super pretty and relaxing to just walk around. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the beds were really comfy. Just a heads up that it can get pretty crowded on weekends, and the food is definitely on the pricey side since you're kind of locked into the resort, but there's a ton of stuff to do on site so you never really get bored. Overall a really solid spot f…

We love Pico Sands and the rooms. We are not members of the resort, but the fees we paid for our 4 day stay was worth it. The food was good and reasonable. The shuttle that took us to the beach, we walked it a few times (good exercise). The water was super clean, beautiful and different fun things you could do by renting the jet-skies or boats. A couple of restaurants there to take care of your needs. We'll be back.

Overall, our experience was disappointing. The beach was not very clean, with a lot of plastic in the water. While the management is strict about not allowing dogs on the beach, they seem less strict when it comes to enforcing cleanliness. We saw several local/tourists leave trash on the sand, and the guards/lifeguards did not appear to take any action. The restaurant service at the country club was also extremely s…

Pico Sands Hotel feels like a quiet escape done right. The lobby sets the tone—spacious, calm, and welcoming without trying too hard. Breakfast buffet is well-curated, not overwhelming, but hits the essentials with good quality and fresh options. The pool area is clean, relaxing, and perfect for slow afternoons. What really stands out is the butler service—subtle, attentive, and genuinely helpful without being intru…
