Riverside is a special place… I came here feeling a little lost and immediately felt safe and at home.. The owners Lee and Macrina strive to make their guests feel welcome.. They offer home cooked meals around a table where everyone eats together and chats… The ladies Irene and Cathy work hard and couldn’t be more helpful… Should I ever return to the Philippines without doubt I will be staying at Riverside … Thankyo…
Fantastic food and wonderful hosts! Unfortunately, we didn't stay at their accommodation, but we were there for dinner every evening while we were on Mindoro. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere; thank you so much for everything!

Mommy Macrina is a very accommodating host. I stayed at her new place just near the Balatero Port, and I would say that the location is very strategic. The place is relaxing, spacious, and peaceful. The food that they served was also superb and a must-try. If you are looking for accommodation for your Puerto Galera trip, I highly recommend 'Sunshine' and 'Riverside at Aninuan'. I will definitely go back.
Nice location if you want to have a peaceful vacation in Puerto Galera (Aninuan Beach). This place particularly offers a family bonding vibe as they offer us to join their dinner (sharing) and it's like a family long table dinner.
Have to give it a 5 stars as the place is clean and comfortable. Especially for the price you are paying, the breakfast is absolutely fabulous. Garlic rice, omelette, sautéed vegetables, fruit plate and bread......you can ask for more ya. Highly recommended!
