Great resort close to Alona beach but far enough away to be quiet. Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff were incredible very helpful. Pool was great, had a deep end. We ate there a few times and the food was great. We also had laundry done which was returned the next day. There is a free shuttle bus that runs during the day every hour up and down to the beach. Highly recommend.
Our experience at this hotel in Panglao was extremely disappointing and stressful. We had arranged a taxi for 4:30 a.m. and paid 900 pesos for the service. However, the taxi never showed up, and the money was not refunded. We were completely left stranded in the middle of the night, facing the real risk of missing both our boat and international flight. It is truly excellent here. The only suggestion for improvement: Please provide two towels per person in the room (one for showering, one for hands). The people who work here are on the ball, genuinely customer-oriented, immediately recognize guests’ needs, and keep everything spotless. Top-notch! They are also friendly and always smiling. Would not return to the Scent of Green Papaya resort in Bohol after a poor experience led to us cutting our multi night stay short after just one night. Firstly we found cockroaches in the bedroom, along with other insects in the bed including a silverfish which crawled out from under the pillow. The room was basic but spacious with lots of cubbies and counters. Bathroom was large with lots of counter-space. They provided handsoap, body wash and shampoo pumps. Service is fantastic and pool area is great. Loved the layout. The rooms on the ground floor face the pool so privacy can be an issue.
