It’s a nice accessible resort about 1.5 hour drive from home stayed 2 nights. It has a nice interior and pool area. The beach side is small and the water is murky. Swim at your own discretion, because next to the beach access is a canal outlet. You don’t know what the locals throw out into the canal from upriver. It was a very pleasant stay. Room is clean and smells good. Toilet is clean. Food is good. The buffet was nice. Only problem it's just too far
The staff were friendly, but the service was extremely slow. Our food took over an hour to arrive. The beach was very dirty, and the management needs to take responsibility. Even though there are signs prohibiting littering, regular beach cleanups are still necessary. Rooms are really old and have cockroaches inside.
