What can I say? Tribal Huts is truly a community. The huts and bathrooms are beautiful and have everything you need. Plus the best mosquito nets! But what really makes this place special are the people. From day one, everyone made me feel incredibly welcome, like I had been part of the community forever. Lovely place, 400peso for dorm bed (twin room). Provisions a little basic, shower is more of a large tap. Occasional smells as several cats and some holes in the Mossie net. However this was more than made up for by the staff/people hanging there, very relaxed easy going. Ability to cook here if you wish. Helpful with booking queries. Accomodating of changing plans.

Very quiet and very charming place. Really friendly owners who share their life and interesting experiences with everyone. I recommend it to all those people who love art, music and something different from the usual hostels. Also clean rooms, quiet common space and very good reception service. This is a very cute little place with a great vibe. However, there are a few things that you should be warned about! You will be living outside, so there will be music and a rooster to keep you company. It has fans so the temperature was not an issue. I was in the « dorm », which has 2 beds, a sandy floor, poor lighting, a toilet with no door just a curtain, a shower that has almost no privacy, and definitely no hot…

This exceeded all my expectations! This place has such a unique vibe. The owners Jonjon and Hannah are wonderful people (thank you for the warm conversations 💜) and they have the cutest puppy. The staff is super helpful. Gang-gang gave me travel advice, welcomed me at 6:30AM after a broken night in airplanes and taxis, and allowed me an early check-in to get some hours of sleep, for which I was very grateful 😊🙏🏼 Aft…
