Beautiful place, the most authentic place I found in the Philippines! Great and very helpful owner! Note: Bring food and check the jeepney time schedule from/to Bontoc. The tricycle won't bring you there.

If I could give more stars I would. We booked this accommodation not knowing much about the place. We arrived at night and were greeted by Vilma who's the nicest and the kindest lady I've ever met. Next day we woke up to the most beautiful view I've seen here in the Philippines and decided to explore the rice terraces. Vilma's dog Venturo and his friends showed us the way and kept us company. Best of all, Vilma herself is just lovely. She hosted us beautifully, doing things like sending her nephew along with us as a guide one day and even lending us an iPhone charger! (There’s electricity there). Vilma speaks good English and w…

Must stay! Maligcong is beautiful and peaceful, and Vilma is extremely kind and happy to share it. I arrived in the afternoon and she immediately found me a guide to show me Mt Kupapey and the rice paddies. She has two sweet dogs who also like to hike with you. The food is fantastic, rooms/bed nice, hot shower, and clean bathroom. Note: The Jeepney up to Maligcong can take awhile to leave. The 12 Jeepney doesn’t act…
