AKA Nichols Airport Hotel, a somewhat rundown hotel on a noisy street in a dirty, rundown neighborhood. At least the room was a good size, and the bathroom was clean. AC works well. By Filipino standards, the staff was lacking in attention. Building could use some cleanup as well. Building has an elevator. The hotel is very close to Terminal 4. In fact, you can walk faster than you can drive, due to the horrific tra…

I would rate it overall as a 4 out of 5. Room was basic but clean and well enough equipped. Very good value for money compared to other airport hotels. Staff were helpful and polite. Downsides were that the water pressure was poor in the bathroom so both the sink tap and the shower pressures had weak flow rates.

Good for a quick night in Manila before an early flight next day. You can easily walk to the domestic terminal. It only takes about 10 minutes and is not unsafe at all. Good staff, I recommend using the cafe, since the nearby restaurant aren't anything special.

Nichols Airport Hotel; Pros: Accessible to NAIA and friendly staff, near fast food chains (Chowking, Jollibee, Dunkin Donuts, etc). Cons: Not what you expect from a Zen Rooms since no Zen Rooms tagged toiletries, bottled water, etc). Room is clean however bed sheets, towel and pillows are not new. Price is ok for a budget hotel. Maintenance needed. Booked a Superior Queen for PHP 1700.00.

Close to the airport. Rooms are clean and staff friendly. Great view and bar on the rooftop. Coffee shop downstairs and rooms are spacious. Bathroom and clean and shower pressure is amazing.

Charged for a Superior Queen Room and was placed in a room with two single beds. Unhelpful staff. Wouldn’t assist with booking a taxi or making an external call. Shower was broken and unusable. Would not recommend.

The Zen hotel isn't the only name. It's also goes by the Nicholas airport hotel. That's what's on the sign and that's what taxi drivers know it as. It's in the bad part of town but it has really nice beds.
